A Fitting Verse

Posted by Faith. Comments (2).

It was about a year ago when Grace and I were playing with our American Girl and Life of Faith dolls. I had two girls and Grace had one. Grace’s doll wanted a sister, so Grace and I decided that they could all be sisters for a day. While they were playing, one of the doll “sisters” named Logan, fell down. It was so interesting because I was just holding a small “Bible” (It was Faith’s—Life of faith doll), and a page with this verse fell out.

Ecclesiastes 4:9-12

“Two are better than one, because they have a good return for their work: If one falls down, his friend can help him up. But pity the man who falls and has no one to help him up! Also, if two lie down together, they will keep warm. But how can one keep warm alone? Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.”

I thought this verse was a fitting verse!

Faith, what a beautiful blog this is! I love the connection that the Lord gave you between your play and His Word. Wow! Isn’t our Father amazing? I love you so much!
